Understanding the metrics

CCT
Corelated Color Temperature indicates how warm or cool a light source is. A higher temperature means a cooler, more blue light. A lower temperature means a warmer, more yellow light.
Lumens
Lumens describe the relative intensity of a light. A higher lumen light will be brighter and will have a higher biological impact, offering more alerting effects.
M/P Ratio
Melanopic/photopic ratio is a measurement that describes a light’s biological impact. The lower the decimal the better the lamp is for before sleep. The higher the decimal the better that lamp is for daytime use.
CRI
The Color Rending Index indicates how well a light source renders colors. A high CRI is helpful to see colors and contrast, leading to higher visual acuity.
