Today, our most exciting Healthe solutions are harnessing the unique properties of UVC 222 to create safer indoor spaces by sanitizing the surfaces we touch and the air we breathe.
Our founder Fred Maxik is one of the world’s foremost experts in Solid State Lighting. He has over 25 years of experience designing technologies that intersect light, biology and sustainability and is the is the principal inventor on over 200 US patents. His extensive experience lighting environments for NASA and the ISS is the foundation for all Healthe technology.
Healthe has lighting solutions for any size application. From smaller personal solutions up to full scale industrial solutions capable of protecting entire schools, hospitals or public buildings.
Healthe lighting scientists have adapted cutting edge technology used to create advanced lighting environments in space where the lights are required to preform to the toughest standards of safety and efficiency.
The Healthe logo is inspired by the shape of a hand-drawn sun. It represents both the immense power of the sun and the importance of human ingenuity.
Our mission is to use light technology to create safer and healthier indoor environments that help everyone see life in a different light.
The study of wavelengths has unlocked revolutionary technologies over time and is now helping us fight pathogens in our air, water and environment
While higher wavelengths of UV light like UVA and UVB can be hazardous to human health, UVC 222 is safe for occupied indoor spaces and is still highly effective for inactivating viruses and bacteria.
UVC light from the Sun does not penetrate the earth’s atmosphere, so you won’t feel it on a sunny day.
UVC 222 is a frequency of light that is safe to humans but effective at killing up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.
The type of far-UVC 222 light used in Healthe is strong enough to inactivate viruses but IS NOT strong enough to penetrate human skin or tear layers.
On June 24, 2020, Columbia University published its latest research showing that Far-UVC 222nm light can safely kill more than 99.9% of seasonal coronaviruses present in airborne droplets. The new paper extends previous research to seasonal coronaviruses, which are structurally similar to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
While specific exposure times and distances may affect the speed of UVC 222 sanitization, Healthe lighting products are always on, providing continuous passive protection at an impressive range.
Healthe UVC 222 solutions require no downtime and no harmful chemicals so they can help you save time and reduce the risk of accidental contamination for occupants and household pets.
Healthe Entry™, one of our flagship innovations, uses of UVC 222 to disinfect clothing and personal belongings as users pass through the unit. The process takes around 20sec.
Healthe Air™, one of our flagship innovations, uses higher UV wavelengths and multi-stage sanitization to clean indoor air before routing it back to HVAC and central systems.
Healthe Space™, one of our flagship innovations, uses of UVC 222 to continuously illuminate and protect surfaces and occupied spaces.
Healthe Compact™, one of our newest flagship innovations, uses UVC 222 to continuously protect the air you breathe and surfaces you touch in any elevator.
Circadian lighting provides the true, natural light exposure that our bodies need to maintain a healthy circadian rhythm in an indoor environment.
All Healthe products have a standard warranty covering X years. The average lifespan of our replaceable UV bulbs is up to X months.
